Grace Bernard Oforka a.k.a Graciedion has finally released her long waiting Hausa composition Ku zo muya be shi after 4 years of writing and recording. The announcement was made on Friday 12th June 2020.
The African composer took to her Twitter and other social media platforms to release links to the song she wrote and recorded 4 years ago. Graciedion revealed through a live stream on her Facebook page that the song was revealed to her after praying in the church and heading for work one morning.
The song Kuzo mu ya be shi which means “Come Let’s Praise Him” was written in Hausa Language (A Nigerian tribe) and written for the guitar, Alto and Soprano recorders, violins, cello and Soprano voice. All instruments were played live and produced by Nosepiz.
She organized a 12 days count down event by sharing spoken words and bible reflections to all her fans In a bid to promote the theme of the song which means Come Let’s Praise Him. The count down ended on the release date June 12,2020 whereby a Live Launching was performed on her Facebook page. See song video here:-
Graciedion is an African Art Singer, Vocal coach and Composer who has compositions in several languages. She also composes for several instruments and opera performances. Some of her compositions includes that of the bassoon works performed at Chicago Symphony Orchestra by Midori Samson, Story of Job Opera in which she collaborated with Victor Ogbonna and was performed by Graciedion Chorale and many others. Her compositions are often described as a way out of this world. A bundle of creativity, talent and exploration of music in it’s highest form.
