The Classic Attitude is a music group of some of the best opera singers and pianists in Lagos, Nigeria with an aim to inspire and impact upcoming classical musicians, and also create opportunities for classical musicians in Nigeria.

The Classic Attitude is a professional group of eight (8) classically trained musicians who graduated from the prestigious Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) with distinctions and music awards. The group was founded in early 2020 and had its first big concert titled “Facets of Love” at the Steinway Studio in Victoria Island. The concert had an audience of over 150 people, including dignitaries such as Late Mrs. Francesca Emmanuel, Chief Jonathan Adio Obafemi Olopade, and Chief and Mrs. Philip Asiodu (CON). In November 2020, the group hosted an online sacred music concert called “An Evening of Sacred Music” to show support to people going through really hard times during the world pandemic (COVID-19), especially lovers of classical and opera music. This concert was strictly online, but the group was surprised by some of their fans who trooped into the concert hall to watch them live. The fans wore face masks and obeyed the COVID-19 safety protocols throughout the live recording of the concert.

This year, on July 23rd, 2023, The Classic Attitude is set to host The Light, Love & Music concert at Alliance Française (Mike Adenuga Center). The concert will feature songs from operas, Broadway, pop, and Nigerian traditional classics.
