Viva Africa Choral Concert
The University of Lagos, Creative Arts department is set to host her annual choral concert – Africa Sings. This year’s event is tagged ‘Viva Africa’ and is scheduled to hold on Tuesday 3rd October 2019.
The annual concert Africa Sings “brings the best of African Art Composition with European stylistic elements yet not loosing the Africaness in it’s performance”. This year’s event will hold in the Main Auditorium, University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
Last year’s event, held in the same venue, featured an intercollegiate Choral Festival. There were performances from choirs of University of Lagos, University of Portharcourt, University of Ibadan, Lagos State University and Mountain Top University.
The event is curated and directed by Dr. Albert Oikelome.
