It is another season for the MultiChoice-sponsored Nigerian Idol music talent show. The call to register to audition for Nigerian Idol 2022 season 7 has just been made to interested contestants. The audition to register for Nigerian Idol 2022 season 7 will open on midnight Sunday 14th November 2021.

The announcement for the commencement of Nigerian Idol season 7 was made on social media. You would recall that Nigerian Idol Season 6 ended after a key contest between the two finalists, Kingdom and Francis with the former becoming the winner of season 6. Registration to audition for Nigerian Idol season 7 will commence on 14th November 2021 and will only last for two weeks.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR NIGERIAN IDOL 2022 SEASON 7 AUDITION

As with season 6, registration for Nigerian Idol 2022 Season 7 is strictly done online. All we need is for you to complete the online entry form, and upload a video of your singing audition.

Here are the steps to register for Nigerian Idol 2022 Season 7 audition;

1. Please fill in you personal details. This is required so you can be contacted should your audition be successful. The details includes your name, NIN/passport number, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, address, passport upload. Link to register can be found at the bottom.

2. Upload a 60 seconds video of you singing any song of your choice.

3. No instruments or backtracks are allowed.

4. Should your audition be successful you will be invited to audition in person in front of the Nigerian Idol judges

5. Participants must be between 16 – 30 years to participate.

6. Audition is only opened to Nigerian Citizens.

HOW TO SUBMIT NIGERIAN IDOL 2022 AUDITION REGISTRATION FORM

A. Fill out the registration form.

You would be required to fill the registration form and provide all the details mentioned above. The link to the registration form can be found below.

B. Answer Questions

You will be required to answer the following four questions;

QUESTION 1:  Why do you think you would make a great Idol?

QUESTION 2: Who are your musical influences?

QUESTION 3: What makes you unique?

QUESTION 4: Sum up your life and who you are in less than 20 words

C. Upload Your audition video

Your audition video should be at least 30 seconds to 60 seconds long. You can either upload your video directly or upload on YouTube/Vimeo and paste the link.

The following must be strictly adhered to when creating your video

a) No talking, only singing should be in your audition video please
b) Perform the song without accompaniment, instruments or a backtrack– remember we are here to listen to your singing only.
c) Please do NOT upload the following: music videos, produced singing or tracks, live performance videos in front of an audience
d) Post your YouTube/Vimeo (unlisted) link below or upload your video

DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR NIGERIAN IDOL 2022 SEASON 7

Nigerian Idol 2022 season 7 registration for audition will open on Sunday 14th November 2021 and end Sunday 28th November 2021 by 11.59pm. This gives only a two weeks window for interested contestants to submit their registration.
