It is not news that there is a new music competition around the corner. It is the Covers African Music Competition! It is time to Step Up to the Spotlight and sing your way to Stardom in the COVER AFRICA MUSIC COMPETITION.
The Covers Africa is a music TV show designed to empower up-and-coming music acts and to showcase their creativity through the talent of other established musicians’ original production. The show is fashioned to give entertainment and music lovers an experience on TV.
Covers Africa will run on TV for 13 weeks and will be hosted by a celebrity act.
The music competition is for singer/rapper. It is hoped the covers music competition will make the winners to become the next big thing?

Covers Africa is a music TV show designed to empower up-and-coming music acts and to
showcase their creativity through the talent of other established musicians’ original production.
Covers Africa was launched in January 2021, with the competition stage of the show scheduled for March. The announcement by CE Productions makes Covers Africa the first show from the stable of Rising Star PowerHouse to be presented this year.
The music reality TV Show is designed to empower up-and-coming music acts and to showcase their creativity through the talent of other established musicians’ original production. The show is fashioned to give entertainment and music lovers a ‘cover’ experience on TV.



Eligibility & Requirement for The Cover Africa Music Competition
- Do a One minute video recording of yourself singing.
- No Background Vocals or auto tune would be allowed (Instant Disqualification).
- Once you have done all the above, kindly wait and we would get back to you.
- Subscribe to Covers Africa YouTube Channel and Follow all their respective social media handles.
Covers Africa will air on Soundcity and its subsidiaries for 8 weeks after a call has been made for entry, contestants auditioned and 15 finalists selected for the main show.
The show is to be hosted by celebrity Video Jockey, VJ Adams, and OAP, Ada Onianwah (Ada OHH).

The judges for the Covers Music Competition show comprises of seasoned and experienced musicians. These includes;
2. Efe MacRoc (The Chord Fingers)
3. Modupe Ige Kachi (The Vocal Nightingale)
4. Sound Sultan (Naija Ninja).
They will be searching for the Africa’s vocal royalty and covers star.

– Fill in your details
– Upload a 1 minute video of yourself doing Covers of any popular song with a different cord structure.
– Video must be of clear picture quality and clear sound, no filters.
