John Onah Otroyin
John is a Nigerian Baritone, Writer, Singing Coach, and Music Entrepreneur. He is passionate about Opera and adores Jessye Norman. He studied Vocal Performance at MUSON School of Music under MTNF scholarship. He played the Judge in the opera: Trial by Jury, and has sung as soloist and chorus member in prominent church and professional choirs, singing such works as Handel’s Messiah, Judas Maccabeus, Chandos Anthem, Triumph of Truth and Time, Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Bach's Cantaga 147 Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, etcetera. He is a finalist for Black Pheonix Inc and NHCP short story competitions. John won the inaugural Kingsley Inuope Idegun Competition for countertenors as the first runner up. He is the CEO of Hanoclefs. He writes from Lagos and lives online @john_otroyin.
