Barely four day to the Opera Concert, MUSON has announced that it has cancelled the Opera Concert. In addition, the MUSON Centre has now shut down due to the Convid-19 virus pandemic.
In the announcement, announced on MUSON’s social media page reads as follows; It reads as follows;
The Opera Concert which was scheduled to hold on Saturday 22nd March 2020 would feature performances of works from Verdi, Mozart, Bizet, Donizetti, Puccini amongst others. The Opera Concert will be conducted by MUSON’s head of Opera “Mr. Tenor” Joseph Oparamanuike.
In the announcement, MUSON regrets the inconveniences the decision would cost interested participants. In addition, it promised a refund for interested ticket holders.
The impact of the Convid-19 virus has crippled and grounded most music events across the globe.
