In a surprise twist, organizers of the singing reality tv show Nigerian Idol just days after closing online auditions have announced a live audition for people interested in participating in the Nigerian Idol 2022 show.
This came as a surprise because the online audition was scheduled to close on 28th November 2021. An announcement of the close of audition was made on 29th November 2021 and people who missed out of the audition were left with regrets.
The announcement of the Nigerian Idol 2022 season 7 live audition was made on Wednesday 1st December 2021. According to the announcement, the scheduled live audition was for those who missed the online audition that ended on 28th November 2021.

People are asking whether this is fresh call or a stage 2 for those who were successful at the online auditions.
