For the 4th consecutive year, the Tenstrings Music Institute‘s annual music camping event, Kamp Afrika 2019 will be hold. This year’s event, initially scheduled to hold in Coutonou is billed to hold from the 16th to 19th October, 2019 at the Atican Beach Resort, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos.
This year’s edition, the 4th and still counting, is seeking to lure at least 200 young musicians to its Atican Beach venue. This would be the third consecutive time the event would hold at the Atican Beach Resort. Young and talented musicians across the country and continent are invited to register. Registration has since commenced and is fast approaching deadlines.
KAMP AFRIKA is a three-day camping event organised to assemble music-loving youths from all over Africa at a private beach resort in Lagos, from October 16-19, 2019, during which they will collaborate to create and showcase outstanding music projects. Participants will have the right environment to create, connect with other talents and be inspired by visiting mentors.

Some of the features of Kamp Africa includes;
Kamp Create – where participants are placed in groups and expected to create a unique blend of African music contents.
Star Mingle -A platform for participants to collaborate, connect, create and recreate with invited notable music personalities. Among those that have been invited is the maestro Ben Ogbeiwi.
Music Classes & Masterclasses – An interactive training sessions usually facilitated by renowned musicians. It affords participants to gain insights from the industry giants.
Live Stage Performances
This provides a platform for participants to showcase their art on a live stage to an audience comprised of their peers and more experienced music industry professionals.
Others are leisure, connections, games and much fun.
