Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic which is crippling major economic activities, Tenstrings Music School has launched its Online Music School.
The management of the music school, which is one of the recommended music schools in Lagos had earlier announced closure of all its centres on from Monday 23rd March 2020. In a statement it announced that “In compliance with Lagos State directives which has now further reduced permitted gatherings from 50 persons to 20 persons across all sectors, all scheduled physical classes, events and rehearsals in all of our six study centers are hereby placed on hold till further notice. General and essential classes will be taken by instructors in the school and streamed live to you all. The streaming links shall be made available to all students from tomorrow…“
The move towards an online school became a necessary move in other to comply with the Lagos State government measure to curb the spread of the deadly Corona Virus across the State. Announcing the commencement of the online music school, Mr. Akapo Emmanuel, CEO of Tenstrings Music School said, “We’re glad to inform you that from Wednesday March 25th (2020) our online school will be open to all our students and to the public (for a fee) on April 1, 2020…”
The online music school will commence with four courses with the plan of including others soon. The course to begin with includes Music production, voice training, songwriting and music business.
All students of Tenstrings music school are expected to be enrolled in the online music school. To do this, they are to get back to their study centres where links to the online classes can be obtained.
