The November edition of the Rising Stars Recital Series organized by the Nigerian Philharmonics Company is set to premier three wonderful male voices. The Rising Stars for the month of November are: John Onah Otroyin (Lyric Baritone), Eligius Okoro (Counter Tenor), and Etefia Etefia (Bari Tenor). The first two artists were meant to perform for the September edition but the concert was shifted forward to accommodate Etefia and buy the organizers more time.

This time was properly utilized to thrill the audience on the 28th of November with soothing solos, interwoven duets, and beautifully harmonized trios. In fact, it is safe to say, this combo is the first of its kind in Nigeria. Some of the artists, too, have announced to be premiering new compositions in the country.
Baritone, John Otroyin, announced to be premiering two works especially: “3 Nama-Damara Love Songs,” a Namibian song in Khoekhoegowab by Engelhardt Unaeb, and “Lift Every Voice,” a powerful charge and cry, dubbed as the African American Anthem, arranged by Tim Amukele.
As stated earlier, the date of this concert is Sunday, 28th of November, and the music starts at 5:00 pm. The venue is the famous Bolingo Hotel, 777 Independence Avenue, Central Business District, Abuja.
